Based on the bestselling novel by Rick Riordan, The Lightning Thief follows Percy Jackson, a teenager who discovers he is the son of a Greek god. When Zeus’s master lightning bolt is stolen, Percy and his friends must embark on an epic cross-country quest to find it and prevent a war among the gods. Filled with humor, adventure, and heart, this electrifying musical brings the beloved world of Camp Half-Blood to life.

Hardin County Playhouse has been invited to participate in a special community event this July featuring A Few Good Men. A 30-minute excerpt from the production has been requested as part of the event programming prior to a wreath placing ceremony.
Additional details will be shared as plans are finalized. We are honored to have the opportunity to continue sharing this production with the community and look forward to providing updates soon.
Hardin County Playhouse's Youth Dramatics Program aims to instruct students from grades 6-12 in Hardin, Meade, Larue, Nelson, and other neighboring counties in all aspects of theatre — from acting to directing to costuming to managing a theater and much, much more!
